Sandy Battle Map - File Description  


Description:
This is my first Act of War map. It is a small 1v1 map with plenty of oil on it to fuel a big war ground, air, or tatictal. Each derrick holds $120,000 and each player starts with 2 oil derricks. The center contains 4 buildings to help defend each side. The center has a cliff in the middle to prevent crossing, the only place you can cross at is where the buildings are, a very nice choke-point to take hold of.

I am working on some maps using the editor and i was gonig to see if i can get them put on this site when they are done but im having some problems with the mini map generator.

When it generates the mini-map it includes some circles that seem to resemble the sky pattern that is currently chosen. Did you get this problem when making maps and if so how did you resolve it?

Yes, But it is not an error. It's just what the editor does. Just wait and let it do what it needs to until you get full control of the editor back. It takes it a while to make a mini map.

But it finished making the mini-map and runs in the game with the 3 circles at the bottom of the mini-map. Its not only annoying to look at but makes the units and oil spots look as if they are in different places.
